"Jess and the team recently hosted us for a surprise 50th wedding anniversary celebration for my parents. This all started in the spring of 2021 with the event to be held late summer. Unfortunately due to one of the guests of honour contracting covid, we were forced to rearrange that booking to January 2022. Jess was extremely helpful and understanding and helped us with all the upheaval of having to rearrange. Well yesterday was the day and with flu now affecting a few of our guests, once again, Jess was extremely accommodating with the necessary changes in guest numbers. We finally managed to hold the event and boy, what an event! The atmosphere, decor, readiness to help from the team, the food and drinks, I simply could not have asked for a better event! My parents were totally taken aback and had the most wonderful day. So a huge THANK YOU to Jess and All the Team at the White Horse, we will be back for more meals."
"Saved the day when another establishment let us down. They took a party of 7 in at last minute notice on a Monday night. Lovely servers and accurate orders taken and delivered. Majority of party really enjoyed their food but I would avoid the crab linguine. Puddings good value and tasty. Fish and chips and ale pie looked like best food choices."

"Tried out this venue for breakfast and not disappointed. Service was good and food very tasty with many ingredients locally sourced. Decor was homely and well presented with even a small gift area at the entrance. Lots of outdoor seating, lots of parking and a children’s play area. A great place for brunch."
