"You must arrive hungry! They serve the best fish and chips in the county, nay the whole country. Desserts are also fantastic. Lovely old inn with plenty of character with friendly staff and great service. Live music at weekends too. Landlady is particularly lovely too. Well worth a special trip to visit."

Went in with my family two Sundays in a row now. With a pushchair and 3 dogs, and still nothing was too difficult to sort for us. I would highly recommend this pub."
"One night stay here, room was basic, very comfortable bed, excellent towels , very fluffy and clean, shower ok, with modern bathroom, location excellent, but you can here noise from the public house underneath. Price was very good in comparison with other hotels, but no wardrobes or places to put clothes, so on a long stay could be something to think about. Friendly people, clean rooms, breakfast is continental, and ideal for a pint , and live music, with pool dartboard, out in the back yard."
