"This is the kind of gem you are afraid to tell people about for fear you’ll never again get a seat. Amazing French cuisine in little ol’ England can be found at The Funghi Club. This cozy, small business is owned and operated by French people who love French food! The Funghi Club is the perfect place to fill your picnic basket or have a lovely meal in house. I visit everytime I find myself in Hungerford!"
"The food was excellent, but I find a restaurant is about the experience as well as the food, and I think they have crammed the tables and chairs in the restaurant, I had to get up half way through my meal and stand up for 2 minutes while the waiter took orders from the table behind me as the chairs are that close together. I had to get up twice, ruining my experience there if I'm honest, it's very cramped. Therefore I would not return, lovely food though."
"In one (French) word: Formidable This small new bistro in Hungerford is like gold in a silversmith shop - outstanding in every good way. Genuine French with a chef with Michelin credentials and food to die for. Every item on the menu is a temptation and visiting here might become an addiction. The service is exceptional, the staff most friendly and the choices on the menu very inviting. Why go to Paris when you can go to Hungerford? In addition to table service, there is a deli counter and we had to buy some additional goodies to take home after our lunch. They also do deliveries. The prices, considering the quality of food, are quite reasonable. We'll be back."

"An unplanned route took us here yesterday, what a find, a piece of France in a quintessential English village! A warm welcome, charming ambience, knowledgeable & helpful staff. Everything on the menu looked so tasty we had to choose some to take home for dinner too! Absolutely delicious from start to finish & all served in a beautifully designed bistro area adjacent to the shop. Looking forward to my next visit already!"
