"Simply amazing! Not massive but this also means easy to go round and seeing animals. We particularly like the red pandas, lemurs, and tigers. Animals are chill which is great to see. Also has lots activity for my daughter - both in door and out doors she loves it and so do we! Many seating areas dotted round the zoo."
"Fantastic wildlife park. We much prefer this to larger zoos e.g, the London zoo. A lot of activities and areas for kids, affordable and nice cafe, you can tell the animals are really cared for. Every 30 minutes you can listen to a free “keepers talk” about a different type of animal, which is really insightful. We spent 3 hours there just exploring the animals and habitats. Lovely day."
"Nice little wildlife park. We spent 3 hours here. There are several animal talks. You need to bring a mask for the nocturnal enclosures. There is a cafe with the soft play. Where you can be sandwiches, hotdogs and pizza. It can get quite noisy from the children playing which was fine for us, but might not suit everyone. The education centre had some nice activities my children enjoyed, the keeper chatted explaining the answers"
"Nice place. Not as big as some zoos, but they do good conservation work. There's a cafe and children's play area with enough to keep them entertained while you sit. We bought the aardvark experience which was great. Dean the curator was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we were comfortable while he had us feed and pet the aardvarks. The fee goes towards their conservation efforts which is a bonus."
"While not the biggest wildlife/ zoo I've visited. Managed to get round the whole park in around hour & half, it certainly makes up for character. The park is very scenic, lots of little streams & ponds scattered around the place. Makes for a really peaceful & nice environment, the animals seem very well looked after."
