Reviews
"Linton is a family favourite of ours to visit. It is a small family run zoo. They are keen on conservation. The animals are lovely and well looked after although some enclosures seem on the small side. Our highlight this last time was the binturongs which were walking about and posing beautifully."
"A small but well stocked zoo full of the sort of animals most people spend all day trudging around to find in other zoos. The highlights were the African Grey Parrots, the Lions and the Snow Leopards. The disappointment was the Tiger as she wasn't showing herself today and there is no indoor viewing of her sleeping quarters so we just couldn't see her. Food and drinks are fairly reasonable. You can walk around the zoo a couple of times in a morning but it's worth going round again to see the animals that were asleep before."
"Great for younger children. Variety of animals to see, especially the large cats. Lots of free parking and large picnic area which you can use and then re enter the zoo as many times as you like. Reasonable entry price too. Wheelchair accessible also. Took my 14 year old who is autistic and he loved it. Nice, small zoo and not too loud and busy which is great for people with ASD."
"It's a lovely little zoo. The trees and landscaping make it feel really nice, especially in spring and summer when the flowers are out. The animals are well looked after and they are clearly trying to update and improve the living conditions as time goes on. Great collection of animals in such a small space. Easy to get round in foot and there are some benches to rest on. I'm in love with the ground hornbills. I think they're amazing. Especially the two up by the tapirs. Was also great to see Tamara the baby tapir out and about in her paddock."
