"The menu could be updated every now and then, as I think we've had everything on the menu to date. The food is still pretty good but a change would be nice."
"Be aware that the kitchen actually closes at 19.00. The staff were very helpful and allowed us to stay until 20.15! Thank you!"
"We chose the Terrace Café for dinner because we were attending a concert in the National Concert Hall. The menu is not extensive but has options to cater for all tastes. All the dishes we tried were nothing short of excellent. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and seasonal and that the Chef takes pride in his cuisine. I opted for « Fish and Chips »…. Hmmm, you might say, not very adventurous. Let me tell you that it was a gastronomic experience, the best I have ever tasted. The cod was cooked to perfection and the batter was exquisite. The desserts were first class and the cheese board was very varied. Service was efficient and timely - remember that we were attending a concert. We were able to have a leisurely meal with zero stress. Top marks to our waitress María who took care of us with Irish hospitality and an elegant sense of humour. When time came to go to the concert, it took us just a few minutes to take our seats. Highly recommended. We are returning to the Concert Hall next week. We have already reserved our table at the Terrace Café. The menu has changed which is the proof of the Chef’s wish to offer seasonal cuisine."
"Excellent food and quality service. Booked table with a request for accessible seating and this was taken into account. Servers were extremely helpful, and upon request kitchen delivered the cheese board with an alternative for blue cheese. I found the portions to be reasonable for the price and the selection to be good"
"Delicious food but service was slow so we never made it to dessert before we has to leave for the concert (we'd allocated an hour and a half for the meal so maybe give yourself a bit more time). I also would have liked to avail of the package menu advertised on their website but we were only offered the higher priced main menu - starters 14-16 euro and mains 22-27 euro. If you get there early enough, there is also free parking which is a bonus. I would go back again."
