"This place had been a favorite of ours for years, though, through the pandemic we didn't go at all! So what has changed? Firstly it's freezing in there.... Even though we were seated by a radiator...went to the loo and could see my own breath in there! Took me ages to warm up on getting home! Having said that we were the only two people there on a Wednesday night so it had to be expensive to heat up the whole place for one table of two pax! Secondly... The food was NOT very nice! I think the herb butter was bought in as chef didn't know what herbs we're in there! Let me tell you there were so many that chicken was the last thing I tasted in my over cooked chicken Kiev!! That., Along with microwave baby potatoes with more awful garlic butter and a small bowl of salad was almost 25 euro!!! A glass of wine almost 9 euro! My partner didn't really fare any better and we left €124 lighter!! Wondering what has gone wrong with this restaurant which was once a little gem but is now a sinking stone! Sorry guys.... Never like writing a bad review!"

"Starting with food. On their leaflet on the table it says: 'please be patient we cook everything from fresh'. I highly doubt that. Pasta sauce was way to saulty and just not tasty. Seafood was definitely cooked from frozen. Pizza for italian restaurant was just very very average. Service was ok. I would understand high prices coming with great food.... but it wasn't. Atmosphere not italian in italian restaurant. Dont think ill be coming back."

"Excellent food cooked to perfection. Four different dishes, I couldn't even recommend an improvement on any the items served. Best service I've ever had in a restaurant (I'm 63). All food served up together for a group (3 big lads & 2 able girls) very promptly, leaving all very well fed. It was that good I thought they must have had a genie in the kitchen. Also, it was great to chat with others and be able to hear them - not being drowned out with loud music."
