"Avoid at all costs. Unprofessional outfit - waiting weeks, now months to get a response from their sub contracted claims team. Blue insurance themselves keep trying to wash their hands of the situation - they cant grasp the concept that my contract is with Blue insurance and it is not acceptable to me as a client to have to chase their sub-contrator."

"Very difficult to claim for a 130 euro visit to a GP in Lanzarote.Far too much paperwork and they even want you to go to your own doctor to have a form signed. Won't use Blue again. Not worth the hassle."

"I spent ages trying to decide which package to get. Most importantly for me I wanted to be covered for any trip being curtailed. The quote I was given was based on having private health insurance and came in at @60 euro. Quite good, but when I investigated further I realised it didn't cover cancellation or curtailment. When I got a quote for their PLUS package it was covered but the cost shot up to 130 euro for two. I took this option because I know from experience that you get what you pay for. Others will have to decide for themselves but make sure that what covered meets your requirements. Buyer beware get the right product"

"I would not recommend pet insurance with Blue. The Blue Insurance website is very difficult to navigate. A lot of information is required to submit a claim even though the info has been updated on my profile. I submitted a claim on the ENOL system and it seems to have been lost. When I rang, the person was extremely unhelpful asking to check my postcode to search for the claim. I had to suggest that she checks my policy number. She said the claim didn't go through and when I asked if it was a fault with the website she just said she doesn't know. She told me to submit again so I went through the process again and then site is still saying "No claims made for this policy" The email address doesn't seem to be monitored as I haven't ever received a reply."

"Awful company, don't take out a policy with them. I've paid for a year holiday insurance - had to cancel my holiday as my boyfriend injured his knee. Emailed asking for claim forms etc, two weeks later I was sent an email asking for all my information in relation to the claim , sent that in and one month later I had no response, emailed again and got sent a form to fill out with a medical cert to be completed by a doctor so would have to pay further funds to get this completed without any guarantee of a claim. Sham of a service don't bother, pay the bit extra to go with a well renowned insurer who will actually respond to claims!"
