"I don’t normally write reviews as a 22 year old, I can never be bothered but I have had such a bad experience with them I felt a had to share it and warn you not to bother with them. I spent £400 on two new tyres for my car which isn’t cheap but I thought it would be a reliable service. I book a slot for a Wednesday evening between 6-8 as I only get home from work at 5:30 thinking great. I receive a phone call at 5:50 from the hub saying the driver is running behind as he had van issue can I reschedule for Friday. I said can someone else come or I drive to them but he said no as the tyres I had ordered where on the van that was already out. I thought sod it I can wait a couple days and ask for the time slot on Friday in which he replied he can only do between 4-8 and can’t do it specifically for 6-8 when I’d be home. He then tells me to ring an 0300 number as they have the authority to make specific time requests. So I do that, after half an hour on the phone a lady picks up, I tell her my experience she says hold, I do, another 15 minutes go by. She then tells me the tyres had never been ordered or come in and that she would have to reorder them. I said that’s okay and will that be Friday? No, there was never a time slot available on Friday and the bloke had lied to me on the phone. I’m not one to moan but at this point I was like is there anything you can do to at least try and do it asap as being lied to miffs me off and she said no the next available slot is the following week. I honestly couldn’t believe it what a joke. Don’t bother with them support a local garage instead"
"Absolute waste of time and money! They charged me £12 for a 4-hour slot, the technician reported on the tracking system that he was on his way to me with 30m to go, then “went sick”. A sunny Friday afternoon near the South Coast, it seems obvious to me that he preferred to be in ‘spoons than fitting my tyres. I cut short my day out to be there for that slot, the least he could have done was to show up. The least the company could have done was to take my helpline call, but it seems all the telephone advisers were taking a short week too. Desperately unimpressed. If you need the service promised and paid for, AVOID!"
"I had tyres on the drive fit me two new front tyres monday, i only picked the car up the Friday before and it was absolutely immaculate. Not a single mark on any of the wheels. The fitter showed up on time and fitted the tyres however in the process damaged one of my wheels, i checked my wheels over prior to them been fitted and with the location of the damage i can only assume its from a tyre lever, i managed to contact the fitter personally who told me he was a supervisor and would help speed the process of having the damage repaired. I also emailed him the photos, plus emailed them to customer services. I have had no response from either. I do have every faith in tyres on the drive to rectify the damage and the second my issue is resolved i will adjust my review to suit! After all we all make mistakes at work. "As per phone conversation with Dan at… As per phone conversation with Dan at Tyres On The Drive today (Saturday 04/12/2021) please find attached clear photos of the damaged wheel rim requested. The photos show damage in four areas of the wheel rims face & also a slap dash attitude to wheel rim balancing weight application. The damage was caused by your faulty tyre fitting machine together with a very young & inexperienced technician. One of the hydraulic rams located on the underside of the tyre fitting machine's turntable fell off due to a missing washer & circlip thus allowing the wheel rim to slip within the four anchor jaws of the tyre fitting machine. Then in horror the technician advised me that the heavy steel pivoting swing out arm of the tyre fitting machine had fallen off & struck the face of my wheel. Good Afternoon Mr Strange. Thank you for your email. I have spoken to the technician's manager who has stated that the damage was caused by our technician. I am very sorry that this has happened and we expect our colleagues to take much more care with our customers wheels. I have spoken to the technicians management to put measures in place to avoid this in the future. If you can obtain a quote for this to be refurbished, we can reimburse you directly upon completion or we can pay the company direct.
