"Trying to get an appointment is a minimum 2 week wait or even a phone consultation over a week. Staff are lively but always having to wait to hear from them is not good for a doctor or sorry unless they are billing you and they will ring until they get paid."
"Where to begin.... Firstly- I would highly recommend Dr. Conor McGrane. Sadly- the reception staff are BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL! Not only that there is no professionalism and a complete disregard to their duty of care. They are failing to perform a simple duties like picking up the phone, prompt email reply or simply BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT. I went in at 11:45am on Wednesday the 8th of February 2023 (I have booked this appointment IN PERSON on Monday the 30th of January after seeing Dr Conor McGrane regarding my sick leave. It was suppose to be my follow up appointment on the 8th of February 2023) I went to the reception to check in. The clinic was very busy that day so I was asked to take a seat downstairs and someone will call me then. So I did. I went downstairs and joined other couple of patients waiting for their turn to be seen. An hour passed. Then another 30mins or longer and I started to get freezing as my chair was near the exit door. One of the reception staff was on her way downstairs to her lunch, she asked me if I had checked in. I said I have done so 1,5hr or so ago. She went upstairs "to find out" and didn't get back. I went upstairs to check what's taking so long and to my chock I've learned that there was NO APPOINTMENT BOOKED for me for that morning! I have tried to explain that I have actually booked it in person and there is obviously a mistake made from their end. They didn't want to listen, insisting that It is ME who made a mistake coming in on the wrong date and that my actual apptm was on Wednesday the 15th of February. It didnt make any sense as I was suppose to see my GP doctor PRIOR to going back to work in order to get "Fit to go back to work'' cert. I offered to wait. The receptionist agreed and said that I'd be seen next. However, another woman holding her baby stood up to say that her appointment was due at 11:15am!!! I couldn't believe that she was there left waiting for so long with her new bourn baby ! Eventually I got seen by another GP doctor. We both have decided to extend my sick leave. I left there. On Tuesday the 14th of Feb I I learned that the GP doctor failed to submit the Social Welfare cert online. I rang the clinic and was told that the doctor was not in that day(of course, that always happens there!) and that she will have it on the doctors ''to do'' list first thing tomorrow morning. Today is Wednesday the 15th of February 2023 a week after my visit on the 8th of Feb and there was still no confirmation from the clinic weather the form was submitted online. 1:32pm I am calling the clinic on the phone to find out. No answer. I have to walk in. 2,3km from where I live but the hell with it- walking is good for us, especially those like me- on the sick leave due to work related stress..There's no patients in the waiting room. Ive explained that I couldn't get through via phone so I came in to follow up on yesterdays phone call regarding the same matter. Ms Caroline asked me to write down my date of birth and the dates of the sick leave that were suppose to be submitted. Then she walked out the reception to join other 2 staff members who were "whispering" in the glass room on the left hand side from reception. I was confused to say the least. I saw them chatting and laughing. Few mins later..Another promise to have it on the doctors ''to do'' list....I started to complain about that to Ms Caroline. Not only that she didn't apologise for failing to perform their simple duties, she was rude and raised her voice claiming: ''Complaining is NOT going to help to get It done! What do you want me to do?!" I said: ''Im asking you to do your JOB''. Eventually, Ms Caroline PROMISED to confirm via phone when its done. I've left the clinic in shock. I can't help but thinking.... Not only that you suffer from the stress which put you on the sick leave, where you supposed to be taking this time off to recover and ''get better''. You are exposed to more stress, rude behaviour, cold demeanour, no compassion at YOUR OWN HEALTH CARE PLACE!!!"
"When you call the practice you must waste at least few minutes to listen to the abusive message, however the staff themselves are so rude plus lie. They do not get it that we are the one who come there and this is how they get paid. On several occasion I have noticed that the level of care does not exist in this practice but mostly attitude. I rang the practice this morning and the phone was answered by Charlene. I asked her for an appointment for my son who is 8 and Ms Charlene asked me, did you book an appointment for your daughter yesterday? I said yes and the nasty girl told me. She never call back to cancel her appointment and if she would have called us your son could have got this appointment today. I was gob smacked. I rang my daughter straight away and gave out to her. She told me mama what are you talking about they sent me a text to confirm if I am attending my appointment and I cancelled it, however they did not receive it in their system. She even told me that Charlene called her yesterday and she explained same to her and today she dare talking to me in this manner. So sorry but I cannot tolerate this attitude anymore. It is high time for them to upskill their staff. Many time also I went on my appointment on time and despite there were no other patient there the doctor saw me after more than I hour. I even recorded there clock as I was so furious. The time that was wasted the doctor could have seen 3 more patients. Totally disgusted by their service and staff. Been with them for nearly 9 years. time to change."
"Really can't recommend people stay away from this place enough. The staff are rude (the attitude was there pre pressure of covid) and the doctors seem inept. I've been offered herbal remedies rather than actual medicine and have had to push for answers to medical questions when they couldn't figure it out. Top it off with being charged €60 for a 1 minute followup to be told there's nothing in the X-rays and me having to badger them for next steps. There is no professionalism and a complete disregard to their duty of care."
"Such a bad clinic , I be been a customer for ten years now , always but always delays and last minute cancellations . The worst part is the cancellations happen when you are in the clinic . They don’t learn fro thru mistakes and looks like that they won’t . The top of the top is that they made us to travel with a 5 month baby at 8 in the morning to be on the clinic and they cancelled the docs check and the vaccinations ! Like the baby is a toy . Unbelievable.. so disappointed . Looking forward to find a better clinic for my family ."
