"I would not recommend this store at all. Very poor customer service. Lack of communications on the delivery and assembly of the purchased bed. The delivery driver has a very bad attitude towards customers. I was told the deliver time would be after 4pm and I would get at least 30 mins notification before the delivery time, but the driver just showed up 10 mins before hand, and he was very rude on the phone. when he arrived at the house, he just unload the goods on the front door and left. He could not care what happens to the goods after that. I personally would not go back to this shop EVER again. If there is a chance, I would rather return the goods and get my money back. Surely, I can spend my money some else where I get the proper service that everyone deserves."

"Not a nice company to deal with when things go wrong. Ordered bed and furniture off them and lamps for sitting room. Bed and side tables arrived but lamps got delayed, I'd paid delivery for all items. Got told bluntly as other items arrived I would have to collect lamps. I agreed as didn't feel I had choice. Chased up about lamps few times, eventually told after paying for them that they couldn't get lamps in shade I wanted. Very disappointed after waiting a few months for them. I asked of I could get in different colour and if they could be delivered out. Bluntly told I'd have to collect them all at different times as lamps couldn't come in at same time. Asked to speak to manager. Guy who sold me items is one, working customer service, so very rude to deal with , wouldn't accommodate on any way for error nor let me speak to manager. Safe to say last time I'll shop in Hanleys."

"Customer service zero- no communication or care about customer. After 12 weeks of awaiting our purchase and after I have asked if someone can be in contact with me,no one bothered to make any call or effort to provide any information- on the end after 12 weeks of waiting went down to take refund- with no sincere apologies about all the hassle caused- as after 12 weeks of waiting I could get orders somewhere else! So with this business I won’t come back for sure!!!! Stay way- save your hassle"

"Be careful if you put a deposit on anything....! I put 200 euro deposit on a table and due to changes with house extension, I didn't have the room for the chosen table. I thought there would be no problem getting a credit note ..But I was told they don't offer them at all..I understand now that they buy in the tables ,and pay up front to suppliers..Although I had signed the docket at the time.,I think this should be explained to customers in the first place..EZ living .. Harvey Norman etc have never had any issues changing items for us over the years..I asked Hanleys if they were to sell the table , could they refund me then....They told me that they haven't sold a single one since ????? Stick to the other furniture experts..A few years ago we bought a mattress and we got the wrong one sent to us..After weeks of stress and trying to convince them they admitted being wrong and replaced it. I swore after that I would never go in again... But I did and I regret it again....steer clear.."
