"Good fun for all ages. We got round it in an hour and a half. We could have spent longer if we read all the signs but with little kids we skipped a few of the signs. They loved it and enjoyed spotting the animals and going through the tunnel by the fish. We fed the fish for £1 a bag and saw some whopper fish!"

"A perfect place to visit, specially on rainy days. Despite the size, it offers a lot, and it's perfectly laid out for children. Be aware that it is hot and humid all year round, make sure to dress appropriately regardless of the weather outside. Parking is free for two hours in the retail complex, and you can extend it further by four hours, just ask the staff for this."

"We’ll laid out, informative and fun. Small from the outside but seems bigger inside. We visited on a weekday during term time so had the place almost to ourselves. Very atmospheric decor and lighting. Some of the creatures were hiding away but there were plenty to see. A lot of tanks were at a very low level, perfect for kids. The large Wallace exhibit is a real treat for anyone interested in the development of the theory of evolution. It’s clear, concise and complemented by the accompanying props. The main environment is hot and humid all year round so dress appropriately no matter the weather outside. My pre-teenager and I had a great time here for just over an hour. Parking is free in the retail complex but has recently been reduced from three to two hours. Talk to the Plantasia staff If you’re planning on eating on site after visiting here as they may be able to help extend parking."

"We took my 2 year old son and my 3 year old nephew here on a rainy day. It was great! They absolutely loved it. Its not very big, but as well as interesting plants and several reptiles and animals there's lots of interactive stations dotted around. You can also go round as many times as you like. The staff are friendly and it has a small cafe and gift shop."

"Absolutely amazing for a morning out! Plenty to see and do! It’s not massive so plan something else for the afternoon but it is absolutely worth the entrance fee! I would recommend getting your tickets in advance so there’s less waiting time but don’t turn up before your slot as they’re too busy to let you in early! The cafe and gift shop are lovely and reasonably priced."
