"I have been to studio 20 many times for a colour and blow dry . They are normally a professional business. However on this occasion they were not. I received a phone call to say that my hair appointment that I had booked well in advance was cancelled . The girl who rang was blunt and insincere on the phone . I explained that I had booked this hair appointment for my 30th birthday dinner. The girl did not care. She did not try to rearrange an appointment with me. She did apologise but the apology was insincere. She then said that five other people were affected by this as the hairdresser called in sick. She made myself as a customer feel insignificant. Which is not good customer care. I asked could I speak to the manager. She explained bluntly that the manager was busy and whenever she gets a chance she’ll ‘try’ ring me back. This type of customer care was rude. I understand that people get sick. However these situations can be dealt with differently. There was a lack of empathy and care. I will not be returning to this salon."

"Horrible experience from the moment I rang. The receptionist couldn't understand what I was asking for when I requested a scattered half head of highlights, she had to get another member of staff. I requested a senior stylist and they tried to give me a junior, who couldn't speak English properly and wanted to charge senior prices. When I refused to let the the appointed junior cut my hair I was aggressive approached by the manager and told no one else was available to cut my hair. I made my appointment a week before. She then proceeded to tell me the stylist was a senior stylist at which point I had to tell her I was a hairdresser myself and knew she wasn't. When I asked for her managers contact details, I was told she owed the hairdressers which I later established she didnt. I was then asked to leave without getting even my colour done. Absolutely terrible customer service skills from management. Lucky escape I suppose. I have heard horrible experiences since this happened from many others. They cut one girls hair completely off without her asking. Avoid this place!"
