Travelodge Norwich Central Riverside 8-12 Saint Vedast Street, Norwich NR1 1BT

"+ Great central location, big, quiet room (3rd floor), reception staff absolutely lovely and helpful. - Not enough towels in room for 2, inadequate sockets and ... Cleaning/room service (top-up). I will elaborate: Firstly, speaking from having past housekeeping experience housekeeping was very poor. Left out "please top me up" sign on door before 10am, having gone to breakfast and coming back in the afternoon with no changed towels, bed not made and cup not washed. Next day, similar story but at least someone went into the room. Again though, bed not made, cup next to bed not noticed, just two new mugs placed in room, no extra toilet roll provided, despite being low already, extra tea/coffee caddy added which was unnecessary. Teaspoons filthy (so much so that a quick rinse under running water washed them pretty well). Housekeeping much to be desired of... I've stayed in numerous Travelodge locations and this was by far the poorest with housekeeping."

"The rooms are great if you are visiting for the nightlife as bars and clubs are relatively close. However, it lacks a few amenities. Staff are lovely, the room was very clean and quiet. If you are travelling by car, I highly recommend Rose Lane multi-story car park lots of spaces and really cheap if you're staying longer than 24 hours."

"Would of given it a better review but there was only one free plug in the room the other plug was broken and un safe to use . We had two phones needing charging and we had to keep sharing the charger, also the radiator in the room was faulty as it kept saying error when we turned it on... The room suited us as it was in an ideal location from where we wanted to be . the room was room number 108 and we stayed the 10th of February 2023 for 1 night."

"Stayed here for the weekend with my sister and dog. Extremely friendly staff, very nice rooms. I previousoy stayed in other chain round the corner but will now book Travelodge again as my experience was very pleasant. It's great loaction too!"

"Bed was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. Had no noise issues at all. However for a family room it was tiny with nowhere to put anything. Bathroom was just as small with the toilet so close to the sink my arm was resting on it while on the loo. The door to the bathroom was very hard to close and once shut was difficult to open. The extractor fan didn't work which meant that the whole bedroom was full of steam and everything was constantly damp and it smelt it too. Have stayed in Travelodges before but this one is the worst by far."
