"Dumitra did my shellac today. Her attention to detail was five star. She checked with me repeatedly along the way about shape, length, colour and I was really happy with my nails. She has a friendly, polite manner too."
"Extremely disappointed with the service here; especially given the cost is higher than the majority of the nails bars in the vicinity. I booked an appointment to get shellac French tip for 3pm and was still there at 4.45 which is by far the longest ever amount of time I have spent getting my nails done. The technician seemed completely unsure of what she was doing; took an inordinate amount of time applying the white tip; using the corrector pen constantly; applying; reapplying. When I was paying she told me she took so long as she was ‘out of practice’ as people normally only get French tip in the summer! I told her that I had wished she had shared that before she started; I might have considered just getting colour if there was no other technician available. An hour after returning home one of my nails started to chip; I had to file it down to avoid it catching in everything but even at that it looks terrible. I went up to the salon when it opened this morning to see if they could just squeeze me in to fix the one nail. All I needed was the reapplication of the white tip. The staff member who did my nails yesterday was there, saw me but kept her head down. The other staff member said given they only had 3 technicians on they couldn’t squeeze me in but offered me times that didn’t work. I’ve been to plenty of nail bars where someone has walked in to get something they had done fixed; they apologised for the fact the customer had to go back in the first place and then gone out of their way to try and fix it. I definitely will not return to Sugardolls nor would I recommend them to anyone."
"Terrible experience. I explained what i thought i had done the last time to be told i was wrong. I said i can only tell you what i booked and paid for. After two "listen lady" comments i was ready to leave and wish i had as first nail came of the next morning and rest constantly after that. This was only one employee, but no one attempted to help or sort her rudeness."
"Very disappointed in the customer service here. I booked my appointment online which is a bit confusing with so many options to go through. Selected shellac but never chose removal in error. Arrived to salon to be turned away by a staff member with an awful attitude. I explained it was my error as I didn’t see the removal option when booking. My time slot was one hour which should be plenty of time to remove and reapply to my short nails so I really am baffled as to why I was refused. I was offered another time later in the day but it didn’t suit me. I genuinely think the staff member was just being awkward for some bizarre reason. She told me a trainee would be doing my nails and this is why one hour isn’t enough time. I didn’t book an appointment with a trainee so this isn’t a good enough excuse for me. Also, I’d arrived early for my appointment and there wasn’t even one other customer there so all that was needed was an extra five minutes for removal. Im actually so confused and frustrated as to why I really was refused my appointment. Won’t be returning here after this."
