"The lads at Sweeneys Bridgefoot always take great care of my car, whether it's a service or repair, like recently helping me pass my NCT. My car is pushing on in years, so needs a bit of TLC every now and again and at Sweeneys, Ash and the team take the time to suss things out, explain carefully what's going on, and not undertake any repairs until you've been consulted. They're always so friendly and good humoured too. Highly recommend."

"Recently had my brake discs/pads changed here for an NCT retest. As a woman, I have previously struggled to find a mechanics in Dublin that I trust and I have finally found one. Great garage, and even better staff! From Ash (who I read about in peoples previous reviews and he does live up to these reviews) to the guy that works on reception first thing in the morning (never got his name) all of them were fantastic! "I brought my car to Sweeneys Garage about 3 weeks ago to get my fuel filter changed and to get a diagnostic for my car - a loud screeching noise when driving/braking and a foul smell coming from the vents. I had asked my past mechanic (who shall remain nameless) to try fix the screeching noise but said it was a non-issue. Within two days, they had scanned, found and fixed all of the issues I had mentioned. The two guys I had interacted with, Ash and Arthur, were both absolute gentlemen. They had kept me up-to-date on the status/progress of my car each day that went past and pointed out the issues in deep detail. I am very pleased with the work that was done and I would definitely recommend anybody who needs work done on their vehicle to do so here at Sweeneys Garage. "My car failed the NCT - and the guys fixed everything, explained what they were doing and my car flew through the re-test. In terms of customer service, it's the best garage I've ever been to. As somebody with no knowledge of cars, I really felt looked after. Ash was a breath of fresh air - friendly, polite and seemed like he genuinely cared. It was a world away from the usual customer service you receive by a mechanic. Would 100% recommend this garage."

"My car had failed the NCT and I reached out to Sweeny's Garage with a list of items, asking them for a quote and a timeline. A gentleman named Ash gave me a slot that day and I dropped the car in around 10am. He told me he'd check the issues and the car and reach out to me with a costing before preforming any maintenance. As he promised, he came back to me shortly after me dropping the car in and quoted me a very reasonable price, saying the car would be ready that very evening. I collected my car and Ash ran me through what had been done. He was an absolute gentleman and made someone who's not very saavy with cars, feel very much like I understood what had been done and why. The car then passed the retest the next day with no issues. I've gone to a lot of garages around Dublin over the years and this is by far the best experience I've had. 10/10 would recommend. Carlo"
