"I took my car to Green Auto Service having had enough of main dealer servicing (VW). I was tired of the main dealer asking if I wanted a "standard, premium or delux" service when booking. I just wanted the car serviced properly. Period. Also, the main dealer had asked me on this service interval if I there was anything specifically wrong with the car. I noted that it was slow to start on cold mornings and their response was that (1) it would require a trip to the "specialist diagnostic garage" to check the car out, (2) that there would be a cost associated with that diagnostic check with no guarantee of finding the fault and (3) and that they could only facilitate that if I pushed out the service date citing limited availability of diagnostic equipment. Pretty poor by any standards. So I took my business elsewhere. Enter Green Auto Service. I dropped in the car in the morning and within 2 hours they had identified an electric fault in the ignition system, spotted an alignment issue with the wheels and noted that a new timing belt was due on the car. They presented options on what I could do and the approximate cost of each option. Communication was crisp and respectful. I was very, very impressed. Ultimately they took the car in for a "standard service" (no decision on my end to choose standard, premium or delux) and identified two issues that I could correlate directly to issues I had with the car during normal driving (the problem with starting the car on a cold morning and the alignment issue which I put down to me clipping the curb one morning on a school run.....I only remembered it when they said the alignment was off). The third issue, the timing belt, was a surprise but I was delighted that they were sensitive to the irregular service intervals of the cars components. The car was fixed up on the same day and fully valeted. It drives every bit as well as the day I bought it. Full credit to the staff there. Easy knowing they are in business for so long. "Happy enough with the service untill i discovered they had removed my main dealer sticker on my rear window and replaced with their Green Auto sticker. Done the same on my number plates. Such cheek. I was disgusted. Will visit shortly to have these removed."

During that time I have serviced and repaired countless cars of various makes and models and I am always pleased with the service provided and works quality. These guys are professional, know their job and, what is a very important to me, are kind and friendly. I have never had any problem with overcharges or unnecessary work done. They are not the cheapest on the market mind you but I guess good services don't come that cheap anywhere. There is a large customer parking. They seem quite busy so a booking in advance is needed. I trust them enough to service my BMW 530e with them rather than authorized BMW garage. Recommended."
