Reviews
"It's an ok place but was asked to leave as I fell asleep not through alcohol but through medical condition won't go back"
"The bar manager was picking her nose and sitting on a stool watching a film on her mobile phone she served me and my friend two pints in two very dirty glasses, my glass had heavy brown stains down the side and my friends glass had lots of lipstick around the rim, I wouldn't advise anyone to visit now"
"Really enjoyed a pint of cider in friendly atmosphere in the White Star. Its nice to see traditional pubs still exist. Visited on a Tuesday afternoon and had a pint of cider only £4. Served by Sarah who was instantly engaging, warm and friendly. She really was great fun and despite being on her own kept the whole bar in order and it was great to chat with some other fabulous characters. Pity i'm going to miss the Elvis tribute this weekend."
"I don't normally like 1 star reviews that are from people who haven't been there but when you advertise opening hours then stick to them. I walked just shy ofb2 miles to get there at 13:15 for a 12:00 advertised opening and nonsign of life. A couple of locals told us they opening times have been "flexible" for the last few weeks. Don't mess people about."
"Massive selection of great cask ales (and keg if that's your thing). Tim Taylor's Landlord is my absolute fave and it seems to be a permanent fixture on the bar, and well kept. You should come over after signing the book of condolences for the Queen at Kings Hall."
