"Cafe sol at Dunnes, Pavillions shopping centre in swords usually good, but today at around 5pm when I went to get cup of tea and a wrap, there was a female staff in counter, she was very rude to me. As a customer I pay and I expect a clean tray. When I asked tea, that staff kept tea pot on the tray that had some crumbs and looked like tray was used by someone else. When I saw crumbs on tray, I took another tray and I cleaned it myself. As I was cleaning another tray, that staff shouted at me pointing the tray with crumbs saying that’s your tray, that’s your tray. I said ok, it doesn’t look clean that’s why I’m taking another tray. But she shouted again saying that’s your tray and insisted I have to take the tray she provided. So I took the tray with tea pots and I cleaned the tray myself. She was rudely said we cleaned the tray already and made a scene infront of others. I quietly said, that’s ok, but I want to clean it again because there are crumbs in it. I appreciate cafe sol cleans all the tray, but if customer is not happy with the cleanliness of tray and wants to clean with a tissue by herself what’s wrong in it?. Instead of I make complaint, I took tissue and cleaned it myself. I felt that staff was very rude to me. As a customer I have a right to have clean tray. I pay for it. Especially during this covid time, she should be aware that people are more vigilant. Cleanliness is different for everyone. What I see in that tray, she may not see. But respect others view. She should have polite behaviour. Good luck to her in this new year."

"Usually only have good things to say. Big but, a young man cleaning tables was extremely rude today. I asked politely if he could clean the table, he told me he doesn't clean occupied tables as he assumes if I sat in dirt it is therefore my dirt???"
