"We've visited the place for the first time ever this afternoon (29 Nov 2022). After a long walk with our dog around the lakes. We were sitting outside because of the dog. Gaultier (I hope I've got it right), our waiter, made sure we were warm and comfortable. He turned on the heating lamps, brought a blanked for my wife, asked if our dog needed some water, etc. Absolutely legend! Our food was served straight away, and it was delicious! Nothing tastes better on cold November afternoon than a bowl of hot chowder! Main dishes were also great, so compliments to the chef! Even though we were the only customers sitting outside, our waiter and other members of staff were constantly checking if we needed anything and if we're comfortable. The service and quality of our food were truly on Michelin star level! Congratulations to the owner and the staff, particularly our waiter, for creating such an amazing dining experience! See you again soon :)"
"Very disappointing experience. Seated in a corner beside the toilets. We were waiting over 20 minutes until our drinks order was taken. Our food arrived down before our drinks. We had to remind the waitress of our drinks, which we got half way through our meal and were wrong. The lamb stew was bland. We were given no attention during our meal. The waiter was too busy playing up to the yanks rather than looking after locals. We decided to pay at the bar as we could not get the attention of staff to get the bill. When we asked the bar man for our bill he greeted us with a dirty look and a grunt. After a huff, he mumbled the total under his cigarette breath. I would recommend not to visit here!"
"We stopped for lunch when out for a spin on our Motorcycles for my friends Birthday. I had the Wicklow Lamb and my brother had the Lamb Stew. The Birthday Boy had Turkey and Ham. All nice and hot with gravy and vegetables on the side. Great value for β¬18... Great to see the place so busy on a Tuesday.... Highly recommend++"
"A cozy little venue that's busy as all get out... Which means it's great! Had the lamb and I was surprised at the massive size of the meal. It was sooo delightful and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful when deciding what to get! Highly recommend coming here if coming through the area. We were shopping for wool at Woollen Mills when Linda called for us and got us a reservation. So amazing!"
"On 21st September, this place was busy, but the staff were welcoming and efficient. The menu had a good variety. Our order arrived in good time, my dish was as described, with the flavours working really well together. The portions were good sized. While not cheap, we got value for money. Satisfied customers."
