"Poorly run store. The Manager, Jason, who was there on 25th Jan 2023 at 6pm was totally useless and didnt care about my issue. I explained to him that I had placed an UberEats order with Fort Rd store, and that I had paid for said Uber Eats order, and that it was never delivered. I understand how UberEats work (pretty useless with refunding) but I would have thought the local store mgr would have cared if a local customer who spent money on a large order of treats, sweets etc had a problem with UberEats, and I would have thought Jason would have wanted to know the name of the driver in question, so he could check if that person was stealing from Co-op or Coop's customers. Total disinterest and refused to take the name or description. I wont be ordering from Fort Road store anymore. I would suggest anyone else using Ubereats does not order from Fort Rd either. The store in Peacehaven are much better. Jason, you had a chance to resolve my issue. You werent interested in doing anything about this, didnt want to take my phone number to resolve the issue, and now you got your store a bad review on Google. Reconsider your stance in future. "I went to collect a parcel and was turned away as they didn't have the staff to serve me. What sort of customer service is that! Staff member did apologise though. Not happy...will have to return to collect but I don't exactly live round the corner. Wasted trip!"
