"Just thought I should take to the time to write a review of A Star Autos and give them 5*'s for the outstanding service they give in repairing alternators. My 2004 3.0 Z4 alternator had failed and not wanting to exchange the factory OEM Bosch unit for a cheaper inferior rebuilt unit, I took the alternator off and searched online for a company in Sussex to rebuild it. After a quick telephone conversation, I took the unit down on Monday for them to repair. By Wednesday lunchtime the repair was completed with new bearings, OE Bosch regulator , brushes and re-surfaced slip rings. It even had a new coat of paint! A big shout out to Tersh for his knowledge and expertise. The Alternator is now installed back in the car and my pride and joy is back on the road. I cannot recommend them highly enough."
