"Loved their Sunday roast! Very balanced flavours and the beef well cooked. Every items on the plate was on point. We tried their dessert tasting plate and it was overall pretty nice (the passion fruit dessert was however a bit disappointing in terms of balance of flavours/sweetness and acidity). But loved the salted caramel and the tiramisu with the bits and pieces at the bottom (felt like it was pistachios). Their cocktails was quite nice as well. Nice combination with the peanut butter. Quality / value ratio for the Sunday roast is the best (19€)."
"Downstairs seems to get booked out in the evening but you can grab steaks at the bar upstairs - dry aged and everything perfectly cooked to taste. Oysters and drinks are great, staff are friendly. Chips are cooked in beef tallow which tastes good even if they are cooked in that short-of-crispy way that they look to do in this part of the world."
"I popped in randomly for lunch because I was in the area, but I had no idea what to expect. Very, very friendly staff and a really nice interior and atmosphere! I was looking at the lunch specials and was recommended the steak sandwich -- the steak was amazing! I also asked to try brown soda bread (my first time) and they make their own using pistachios; it was a little firm but still tasty!"
"I love it! I came here four years ago (I’m American) and had the greatest fillet steak of my life! I made sure to come back next I was in Dublin and it did not disappoint. Upstairs bar renovation leaves a great addition to the steak house dining experience on the bottom level. I cannot recommend this highly enough. Well priced for what is served, staff was lovely and I can’t wait to return. Check out these sweet pics to get an idea of what to expect!!!! Thanks Bull n Castle for another wonderful evening."
