"Been using Super yummy for years and it had always been fantastic. However the last 2 orders I've had have been thoroughly dissapointing. I always order duck, whether it's pancakes or one of the duck dishes. The last time I ordered pancakes it was pre-shredded (not on the bone as it was previously) and it was as dry as cardboard. I actually couldn't eat it. The next time I ordered duck in plum sauce, again I was spitting feathers as the duck was sooo dry. Maybe this place has changed hands or had a new chef but will definitely not be back for a while. However my partner had shredded beef both times and was very happy."
"I've been buying from Super Yummy for over a year, but my most recent order was a shadow of those that came before it. New management or chefs, perhaps? The char sui pork curry, which used to be a unique hot red curry, was indistinguishable from a generic pork curry. The salt and pepper chips have replaced their chilli peppers with bell peppers, meaning there's no heat whatsoever. The wet special chow mein had barely any sauce at all - just a small spread of dark sauce on the top - but was otherwise tremendously dry. I think it's time for me to look for a new Chinese takeaway."
