"I've had take away from RICE many times, and had dinner there last weekend. I can't recommend their food enough, everything I've tried there has been so tasty and yummy! To eat in you order in a screen at the entrance which was different and fun. The picture doesn't do justice to that Mongolian beef, it was absolutely amazing!"
"My partner and I ordered from Rice prior. We encountered difficulties with our order (i.e Missing Items) and poor initial support. Maria saw to it that this was rectified this evening in a follow up to my first review. Therefore, I have amended my review to reflect the latter. Overall, I would recommend their food and it’s quality to all future customers."
"What happened to RICE ? When this place first popped up (Richmond St.) it was my favourite Chinese. The food was always fresh and really good quality so I didn’t mind paying more as it’s on the dearer side for a takeaway. I really loved it. The last few times I’ve had have been hit and miss, mostly miss to be honest so I hadn’t ordered in ages. I chanced it again tonight and I must admit it was the worst I’ve had. It’s such a shame because it was so good before. This happens a lot I find with new places. The prawn toast used to be a personal fave and you’d receive 4 pieces. This time I got 2 and it was burnt, greasy and nothing short of manky. Also had the duck pancake, sauce was so bitter (not traditional hoisin). Honey chicken was dry, rice was clumpy and spring rolls were not good at all. I’m not usually one to leave a poor review. I’m doing this in the hope that the restaurant will notice and make changes. You’re losing customers. Unfortunately this will be the last time I’ll order. One too many poor takeaways. Hope it can make a comeback and return to the way it was. Honest review from a foodie."
"Ate here in October '22. Had salt and chilli prawns and mongolian beef with noodles. Both dishes were piping hot and delicious. Partner ordered veggie spring rolls and the wok fried aubergine, and she was really happy with them. 44 euro for 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 diet cokes. Not cheap, but not overpriced for Dublin. Marking the service down slightly because they brought my partners starter with my main and I had to wait another 5 minutes for my starter."
"I went here for lunch and left very disappointed and only ate half of what I ordered. It was a complete mess of a meal and expensive. I ordered beef and black bean with steamed rice (requesting they made it spicy/hot/add some chilli's. What I recieved can only be described as a gluggy bland laden mess - some beef but overwhelmed by onion and heavy starchy sauce. And for 16 euros - a complete rip off (compare it to Neon across the road where for 11 euros you get the same dish - cooked 10 times better - plus a drink of choice, and an ice-cream). I also asked for it spicy/hot - not at all spicy. Hopeless! I would only give 1 star, but I'm giving 2 stars as the service was reasonable (except for the McDonald's like ordering screens. There was only one other table in there - you would be better to have humans take the orders...). Cook better quality and value for money food, if you want repeat customers."
