"Do you like mediocre noodles? Do you like paying €18.50 for a small bowl and a bottle of water? Do you like waiting 30-40 minutes for those noodles? If you answered yes, then you might actually like this place. For me, it was one of the worst dining experiences ever. The place was not even busy. There were empty tables everywhere and the staff were not pushed. I came in on my lunch break and ended up waiting 35 minutes to get a bowl of very over priced and really not that good noodles. For that price I expected much more. How long does it take to get a average sized bowl of noodle ready? Attached is what I got for my €18.50, as it sits on my office desk because they couldn't even get that ready in under almost forty minutes.. Apparently they charge a few extra quid for eating in as opposed to take away but I was forced to make it take away after spending well over my lunch break waiting for these sub par noodles. My advise is to just avoid this place because there is nothing positive I can even point to in my experience there that would ever make me think I would ever go back. There are plenty of other really good noodle places within a five minute walk. Check them out and give this place a pass."
"Ordered the sesame chilli noodle salad to eat in for lunch. Was waiting 20 minutes for my food and the restaurant was not busy. My meal consisted of a massive portion of noodles and hardly any salad. There was no sesame and the dish was flavourless. The noodles were over cooked. I would not recommend this branch of Xian and will not be returning."
"Disappointed! Just ordered a king prawn sweet potato noodle (gluten free as I’m a celiac) + prawn fried rice for my husband on Deliveroo. 1:30h waiting for the delivery, got two cold dishes, and, I’m not sure about redefining noodles but my sweet potato noodle dish had no flavour, no sauce, no taste… tried to throw a bit of shoyu I had at home but no deal. Luckily(or not, wait for it), I could share my husband’s portion to get fed, but my hunger passed when I nearly choked in a green beens cale…. After looking into the menu again and the order just to double check if I hadn’t actually made a mistake when ordering, I am now thinking they didn’t even send sweet potato noodle but glass noodles. I’m celiac. P.S.: don’t let the juicy look of the noodle behind the photo attached fool you, this is after my attempt of throwing shoyu all over it. And before I realised that I got glass noodle instead of what was ordered."
"Noodle prices shown on the menu board are for takeaways, not for eat-in (which is EUR 2.50 or 3 more expensive). Staffs let us look at the board without mentioning any difference in prices. The board itself has nothing saying that this is for takeaway and not for eat-in. The noodles themselves are nice. Both myself and my friend agreed on this. I had No.1 with pork and my friend No.1 with beef. Decent noodles at reasonable price. You may have to wait a bit longer since there's lot of delivery service people in the queue as well. It can be easily 4-stars if things get more transparent to the customers. (See photos of 3 different kinds of menus: prices on food board matched prices on takeaway leaflet; prices on menu card [one with photos] is for eat-in.)"
