"Went for an early dinner. Fantastic food, flavours are sharp and clean. Totally casual and unfussy setting which means the focus is entirely on the food. Cheap too."
"Food: 4/5 decent food. A little off for Chinese food… rice was boiled instead of traditionally steamed and the Szechuan Sauce tasted a little bland and watered down. The Kung Pao sauce was delicious though along side the duck starter. Cost: 4/5 alright sizes for what you pay. The rice side was €1.50 while the egg fried rice side was €2.50. Environment: 3/5 standard Chinese music and fare. Nothing special. Environment"
"Very decent place with quite authentic Chinese food. Service was a little slow (it was packed that night though) but very accommodating. We tried four dishes, spicy beef sautéed with lotus roots and sichuan peppers, the potato noodle sour and spicy soup, the tantanmen and a lamb/tofu spicy marmite. Tantanmen was actually very similar to what you’d find in Chengdu, same for the sour/spicy soup. Lamb was a little tough to chew but good regardless. The menu was huge though (36 pages…) so it was hard to really decide on anything. Price was good! I do recommend if you’re around The Spire though!"
