"Very nice to pop into a local restaurant after some years and have a great standard of service. If I was picking, I thought the risotto was a bit bland, though it was still very nice. My wife had a beautiful steak. The key to the evening was certainly the staff. They were friendly and attentive. I will definitely recommend Franzinis."
"A great restaurant fighting for its place in Trim where plenty of choices exist. The food is always good quality and the portions are quite large. Prices are reasonable. The service has improved over the years and is great now. We had very mixed requirements for our meal with many changes to the standard menu. Every request was catered for and the very confusing order came correctly thanks to the young lady serving us."

"This is the third time my family and I have been to Franzinis and more than likely the last time. The food was okay. - the ribeye steak, brie and garlic mushrooms were lovely. - the price of the early bird menu is very good, with a selection of dishes to choose from. However, - the potato skins and battered cod were overcooked and so hard to eat. The teriyaki chicken, chicken wings and pasta dishes were flavourless. - they had no milk alternatives for tea/cappuccino/latte. Just cows milk. - the desserts weren't great. - there's also a 10% service charge for tables of 4 or more, which I don't think is fair - the service was okay. The quality has just gone down so much since our last visit."
