"If you have the opportunity- take it!! The food was amazing, the singing and dancing was top notch. Love that they tell stories and explain the history behind some of the songs. I went 2 nights in a row and loved each show - they were slightly different! Staff was great at handling the packed room with travelers from all around!"
"One of the historic pubs in the Dublin hills, belonging to musicians (so, often having live music ...even if not today). Not huge selection but some pretty nice classic Irish recipes well elaborated and presented. Nice place also for breakfasts after a walk on nearby forest hills."
"Very tasty food. Worth every penny. Came here after a company event volunteering on a dog shelter. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, good taste in music, welcoming staff and delightful food servings. Enjoyed every bite and sip!"
"Very impressed with the Merry Ploughboy, very welcoming and friendly staff , very accommodating to my dogs the staff brought them water and treats straight away. The service and food was fantastic. Spotless clean and such a relaxing beer garden. Really enjoyed our whole experience, I will definitely return and highly recommend."
"This was such a fun spot to visit. I never would have gone if I hadn't been with a tour, so I am glad we tried it. The food was really good (and I wasn't expecting it to be) and the performances were fun. I especially loved the trout dish. It's a decent ways outside of Dublin so you'll need a mode of transportation to get here. The show is a bit long and the space is all tourists, but there's something fun about that too. Would recommend to people visiting if they wanted dinner and a show!"
