"We were in town on Saturday night and booked via OpenTable for a 9pm sitting in Lazlos. When we arrived, although we received a booking confirmation at the time of booking, we were told under no circumstances would they fulfill our reservation because their kitchen closes at 9pm. The last sitting is 8.45pm, so I asked why, then, were we given the option to book a table for dinner at 9pm. Instead of answering my question the manager just kept repeating that the kitchen was closed. I'm a reservations manager for a venue just a few minutes walk from Lazlos so I know first hand how easy it is to amend availability on OpenTable, which they don't seem bothered about trying to learn themselves. He then extremely rudely stated to us "and you won't find anywhere else to eat in Dublin tonight". I told him he had been extremely unhelpful and we left, and got a reservation in Mykanos, where the staff were extremely friendly, went above and beyond and the food was delicious. I don't recommend this place and they could really do with some lessons in the very basics in customer service and how to run a restaurant."
"The worst place ever we did the reservation for 9.15 pm and they said they close at 9pm"
"Great Hidden Gem! Came across this great lil restaurant when looking for a bite to eat for breakfast. Staff Friendly, Food was quick and Delicious , try the Eggs Benedict if you stop by. Restaurant is linked to a Hotel which also has some amazing artwork in the bar and inside the reception. 100% will be stopping by again."
"Don’t waste your time. Literally we ordered a glass of wine and 20 min later another server took our order… we ordered the same glass of wine and 5 min later both servers brought our order and we had 2 glasses of wines and were charged for it. Waited another hour for our food which tasted like they ran next door to Tesco and grabbed a pre-packaged meal and warmed it up and served it on a plate."
"Good breakfast options and frequently staff. I’ve enjoyed bkfast here a number of times staying in the hotel. but they need to learn how to make a poached egg (hard boiled egg is not the same!). Pls someone - get the cook a timer!"
