"Nice healthy foods (and cakes), great coffee. A lovely place."
"Amazing shop and restaurant with super food hall. I've only recently visited as I've been to other avocas. This one is the best"
"I'm giving Avoca 4 stars but only after a debate with my family members, I was leaning towards 3 stars. The price wasn't as expensive as I'd expected. Two full Irish breakfasts, a scone/tea and a can of coke for €39. We didn't eat inside as we had our dogs with us, so I can't comment on the interior but I imagine it is lovely. The Pros: 1. Spectacular grounds. 2. Service was quick. 3. The breakfast was tasty. 4. They allow dogs outside. The Cons: 1. Our Irish breakfast was served luke warm. 2. No choice of white pudding just black. As Henry Ford said: you can have any color you like as long as it's black. 3. Large dogs need to be muzzled, we found this out after we ordered our breakfast. This wasn't explained to us when we rang to inquire if dogs were allowed. I think we would have been asked to leave only for the fact our breakfast was already ordered. To be fair, the manager was very polite about the situation."
"The original and the best of the Avoca outlets, especially for well-heeled ladies who like to lunch. Lovely retail and gardening shops and very good restaurant. Delicious, healthy and fresh food on offer with a garden view. Slightly more expensive than other outlets, but you pay extra for the quality of the experience. Recommended."
"Probably my favourite Avoca and also one of my most favourite shops around Dublin - The property is just stunning, located in this historic building with its old large garden, the former palm house that is now a café/restaurant. Absolutely love it. It‘s a great place to spend some hours, strolling through the shop, have ice cream outside, have a coffee or good food in the garden, or find some plants in the extensive plant section. Love the concept, always nice to go there."
