"The restaurant and staff are lovey. The lunch selection is very limited and also same menu as when we were here in the early summer so would really put me off returning as a regular place to lunch. The food is spectacular but who wants to eat the same selection over and over. The burgers were lovely. The fig and rocket salad was really really good. The prices are very reasonable for mains and starters but we ordered a glass of "house" wine which was charged 15 euro on the bill. More expensive than one of our mains!! The staff were very attentive. The view was spectacular. The coffee was lovely and they had a selection of milks available which is always great. The toilets were stunning."
"Had breakfast lunch and dinner here during a recent stay. We had breakfast in our room and it was delicious. Lunch was only okay… both the Prawn and Chorizo Orzo and Beef Burger lacked flavour. Dinner on the other hand was very tasty - top marks. Service is good all round - very friendly staff."
"We stayed in Powerscourt hotel recently and dined in Sika one of the nights. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so nice. We had our kids with us and they had a lovely kids menu too. I had been to Sika earlier in the year for lunch too with a friend and that was also a lovely experience. Would highly recommend it. Will definitely go back."
"A truly disappointing experience having lunch at Sika, Powerscourt. We went out of our way with guests to dine at the 5* hotel and show them a good time on their wedding day. The service was really poor, extremely slow, food options limited (one vegan option on the entire menu). I would never return and have had been nothing but embarrassed to have brought family there and hyped it up before the visit. I’ve had better table service in Eddie Rockets which is really not what’s expected at a 5* establishment and even more so based on the prices being charged."
"I would rate this 4.5 due to long waiting time. Food is phenomenal 5 star all the way. Staff super friendly. Lovely restaurant, great views, perfect location. We waited 15 minutes for a glass of prosseco. From ordering it was 27 mins before we got our food (Ceasar salad and burger) and then another 20 mins for dessert. This is not somewhere you go if time is an issue. Not complaining and it would not turn us off going, but the restaurant wasn't busy today so why were we waiting so long?!?coffee was also very good. Pricey, lunch for 2 was €106. But that included desert. Enjoy, its a fab place"
