"They offer quite a lot of classic HK ‘tea house’ (fast food) dishes. All the customers we met today were Asian. HK style is kinda hybrid of east and west and I am sure you will be surprised by those unique dishes. Hope there will be more westerners knowing this place. We had the cheese baked rice and both were authentic. The shrimp-egg Lo Mein and wonton noodles were our favourites and difficult to be found in other HK style restaurants in the UK. We didn’t try the pineapple bun today but if you haven’t tried this before, this is the must-have of HK bakery."
"Pork chops with black pepper sauce is very tasty and tender. Good selection of HK style Chinese food for reasonable prices. Popular among Chinese customers so it shows it’s good."
"Food was really close to the authentic Hongkongese flavour. First of all the price was very competitve compared to other East Asian cuisine in the UK. The French Toast was very good and very authentically HongKongese. The baked rice with pork chpp was also very authentic and the foil container was really a nice touch to the Hongkongese culinary culture. The sauce could be sweeter and more flavourful, but it was a great dish. What tasted a bit off: The iced milk with red bean was a bit watery with over-propotioned milk. The instant noodles with satay beef was neither authentic or tasty, with the main issue have to be with the overcooked beef and the seasoning. Afterall, it was enough for homesick HKers and for those who wanna try truly AUTHENTIC Hongkongese Cuisine. I"
"Taste exactly like what you’d get in Hong Kong. We had beef brisket lo mien which was so authentic & good quality, rice noodles also quite good and our favourite is the salt & pepper chicken wings which was absolutely delicious! Staff are all so friendly & the whole experience was just so homey. Will definitely go back."
"Great food and excellent service, such a hidden gem in Brighton. I'd recommend the noodles broth for main and please have 5toppings, choose whatever you want because all of them are both yummy. You have no idea how authentic it is! And I'd suggest that wings and pineapple butter bun for side dishes definitely, especially the bun is such a typical traditional hk food. If you are a "rice person", try the mix meat rice with pepper sauce(not to spicy). The pork is unbelievably tender that it's the best pork dish in the UK. One interesting thing is theres no service charge! I bet this is the only one restaurant doesn't have service charge in the UK. The staff there really need a raise! Last but not least, it's Mai Sin instead of mxxxxx. Itd be great if we can appreciate our own language."
