"Had a lovely light lunch, service was fast, nice buzzy, busy atmosphere."
"When I arrived was greeted by a gentleman in a suit - I asked for a jug of tap water whilst waiting for my dinner date. A different waiter arrived with bottled water. Reiterated I asked for tap water, he apologized.( Please note in most restaurants the water is filtered away )ordered osters for 1st course they were the tiniest, I've ever seen!! However yet another waiter who took our order -Jacob was so lovely, professional, helpful any very attentive without been intrusive. He deserved 5* but because of the Watergate & osters only gave 3*"
"Fab café with vibrant atmosphere. Lovely staff who were super efficient and very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. I had The Solo which was cooked to perfection (though I should have asked for fried egg done on both sides - personal preference). Not a sign of a drop of grease, just really nicely and cleanly cooked and presented beautifully. We were back in Dublin on holiday and it's lovely to find a great spot for brekky - and this was the best yet!"
"Had been going here for years as food was great. But was there last week along with my kids, and one of the staff was exceptionally rude. Didn't feel welcome at all and was made to feel uncomfortable while I was there. Had planned for a proper lunch and treats for kids but left as quickly as I could. Pity as their food is brilliant. Will never be going back again."
