"Exceptionally good and delicious seafood restaurant with a beautiful location by the sea. We booked Cavistons for a birthday dinner and it ended up being a perfect place for the occasion. All the fish dishes and sides were great. They were also able to alter the Surf and Turf dish and served a steak to a person not eating seasfood. Highly recommend this spot for treating yourself on a special day!"

"Let’s Talk About Cavistons. This excellent restaurant and adjoining Food Emporium are true jewels in the Sandy Cove area of Glasthule. A very special lunch wasn’t my intention when I left my hotel in the morning, but after a bracing walk along the coast I came across this restaurant. One look at the menu and I was sold. The selection of dishes was amazing in their diversity. I was hard pushed to choose. I wanted it all. After consulting Leif, my waiter for some recommendations, I chose six native oysters, so fresh I could hear the sea when I ate them. I followed this with a fresh Seafood Chowder, filled with crab claws and juicy mussels. Perfectly seasoned. Main course was Pan Fried Monk Fish. I really must commend the chef on the preparation and cooking of this beautiful fish. It was perfection. All in all, a very pleasurable experience that I will be repeating."

"We had a very nice lunch in Cavistons during the Christmas Holiday, The food was very good, the service friendly and helpful and the ambiance very pleasant. However, when the time came to settle our bill, we were shocked at the price. We considered it outrageously expensive. I don't think we will go there again."

"The new restaurant with the seabar is different setting on ground and first floor. Lucky to get seated by the sea view, unlucky that it was a grey & cloudy day. Tried the James Joyce cocktail and the small plates - Arancini, Tuna Tartare, Beef cheek & potatoes. The chocolate brownie bites were just divine… will be back for the ground floor menu"
