"Excellent dining experience , although the restaurant is a long time going it still remains top quality. Very accommodating staff , myself and my partner try to order gluten free where possible and the staff (Joanne, excellent may I add) always Accommodate. I’m quite impatient and all the courses came out in a timing and eloquent fashion. Lovely Kevin is always on hand to make sure we were enjoying the experience . Only problem is my missus has a thing for Kevin and I would consider this to be the only drawback. Again excellent food, service and atmosphere a++++++"
"One of favourite restaurants in the world. Certainly can't think of one better. Revisiting after about 22 years and still great. Lovely food well presented and professionally served. Excellent!"
"Nice and cozy place for dinner. Lovely staff and service! The starters were amazingly tasty, the main dish was not so good. But maybe the choice was wrong:)"
"Great food in a cosy setting. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with a glass of bubbly for my wife's birthday. Fresh fish cooked to perfection, with no sparing of the butter! A bit pricey, but entirely recommended."
"Early bird menu is brilliant value, their house Merlot is really good and the staff were super. French onion soup was good, fish pie was good, but the rhubarb crumble was missing the crumble, a little more like warm jam and ice cream - but I’d go again, I’d like to try the Sole fish and chips - also, the interior needs freshening up. I’d recommend though !!"
