"Ordered sea food ramen which they charged 13 euros and all they gave was dried noodles and few pieces of salmon and a half boiled egg . Never ordering again."
"We’re been ordering and sitting in often but the last 2 times we ordered online it took over an hour to wait for the food. Today the order was same, long waiting. as soon as I arrived home the curry was missing. we rang to say it was missing and it took 40 min to deliver the curry. the rice was frozen by the time it arrived, they need a big improvement on all the services. I don’t think I will order anytime soon."
"Amazing, hot food and very kind staff, lots of sushi options and much more, please go here I really recommend it"
"Food was a bit above average, salmon was fresh and prices are good. Miso soup was delicious. Waiter was outstanding as he served all tables present while taking just eat and telephones orders and was very well mannered too. Place was clean and cosy. Many parking spaces at the time aswell"
"Popped in here a couple of weeks ago to try it out. Shamefully I had been using Wagamama’s as my local Japanese place for a while because I simply didn’t know Taro existed. First impression when I walked in the door was the smell. There is an adjoining Chinese restaurant and the smells that you typically associate with Chinese restaurants spills into Taro. It’s only a smell but made skeptical of what I was about to eat. The place was empty on a midweek night at around 8pm although there was a take away trade ticking over. Needless to say with the Restaurant being quiet service was attentive and quick. The food surpassed my expectations. In particular the California roll sushi. It tasted fresh but I suppose California roll contents don’t really pressurise Restaurants in this regard. The tuna sashimi wasn’t quiet as fresh. Definitely a noticeable difference in colour and texture from the busier places in the city. Not bad all the same but not great. The spicy chicken ramen bowl was fairly solid. Similar in large parts to Wagamama’s chilli chicken ramen. None of the ramens on the menu had the seasoned egg. I love checking out Japanese restaurants seasoned eggs because it’s a great test of their fundamental appreciation of Japanese cooking. None here on the menu at all which was disappointing. All things considered if you are in West dublin you should be going here versus be big brand Japanese in Blanch centre. Prices are reasonable and the food is decent."
