Reviews
"We visited here on the recommendation of friends and we weren't disappointed. The terrain can be a little awkward the further along the river you go, but it's well worth it. The falls are spectacular in places and pretty in others. All of it very photogenic. The surrounding woodlands make for a really enjoyable experience."
"Lovely Autumnal walk & 1st time visit. We aimed to follow the footpaths marked on the map at the start of the walk. However there was lack of directional trail markers & we ended up doing our own route and following as close as we could to the river until we reached the Falls viewpoint."
"Great walks along rivers edge. Dog friendly with waste bins. Loads of beautiful photo opportunities. Mini waterfall cascades. Not particularly wheel chair friendly although some groups had pushchairs. Huge boulders to climb over along river and in river. On my visit parts of the woods were closed for repairs. There is also a cafe situated in the free car park although this was closed on my visit. Would like to visit again as I think there is a 6km circular walk although I'm not sure if some of the walk was closed for repairs."
"Stunning and rather tropical. Very poor signage . There are two walks but only saw one arrow. Walked along by the falls first, you need to be able bodied to fully do so, and then walked up and down in the woods to fund our way back to the car park. Nice place to eat and have a drink there."
