BY BEACH - LOVELY SEA VIEW - GREAT INDOOR POOL Beach, Kingsbridge TQ7 4HU

"Stayed at The Beach: 15 to 18 April We have just come back from a lovely Easter weekend stay in Challaborough Bay. The caravan has the best view. Charlie and Pam sent loads of info beforehand about the accommodation and surrounding area. On the site there is a Nisa Local, an indoor swimming pool, a games room, a restaurant and bar on the beach front.. these are all within 2 minutes walk of the caravan. We were not disturbed by any outside noise, it was very very quiet where the caravan is. Their is wetsuit and board hire on the beach too & the waves were just as good as Bantham so there was no need to drive anywhere else for waves (although I am aware the surf report looks poor for the rest of the week so that may have been some luck for us). When we arrived there was tea and coffee as well as salt and pepper. There was washing up liquid, sponges and a tea towel. There is 4 of everything (plates, mugs, cutlery etc) the fridge was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the caravan. The TV is freeview only but has HDMI if u wanted to plus something in and a DVD player built in. The beds were really comfortable and the heating was easy to operate and very quick to warm the place up. The oven is gas operated & was in perfect condition. The parking space is very much appreciated as not many of the caravans have this luxury. The hill up to the caravan is very steep so bare in mind if any disabilities but I think reception have some buggies they can drive you up in if required. The indoor pool requires you to book ahead but if it’s full they accept approx 20 walk ins so easy enough to get a slot. I will definitely be sharing this with family and friends & wouldn’t hesitate to book this caravan again for a great beach break!"

"Charlie and Pam were amazing hosts and quick to reply. Nothing was an issue. All information and communication was of the highest quality. The place was well equipped, clean and comfortable. It was a great location. Lovely walks and coves. It was nice to be able to walk over to the island to explore and enjoy a drink in a nearly 700 year old pub. The team on site were helpful and friendly. We will use Charlie and Pam again in the future. We were looking for a lovely place to get away for the week and it exceeded our expectations. We are well rested and content. Thank you so much for everything."

"We stayed for a night in this lovely location. The outlook from the window is fantastic, particularly on a lovely sunny day. Park is right on the beach with a pool and entertainment venue although we did not use these. The site is very hilly so just be prepared for some uphill walking to the caravan but the elevated position is certainly worth it. The facilities inside are very good with full heating and larger cooker than many home kitchens. Main bedroom was a good size too. Would definitely recommend."
