"I am not one to post negative reviews or give negative feedback - usually in the event of any upset I would just let it lie but my experience was horrible and I would not recommend FMG's services to anyone. My vehicle was assigned to FMG Repairs by my insurance company following an accident. The vehicle was collected promptly and without hassle. The survey of my vehicle was done the same day and an estimate was then sent to my insurance company - this is where things went downhill. I did not hear from the garage for a few days so I called the branch where my vehicle was. They then told me that repairs had been authorised and that parts were on order. I then left it a week and was informed that parts were still on order. A few weeks later I received an SMS message saying my vehicle had been financially written off. I called my local branch and they said that the estimate exceeded the value of the vehicle. They had also stripped my vehicle and emptied items such as air conditioning, also they had removed areas of my vehicle which were not damaged in the accident e.g. driver's side door handle and door panels. I then initially agreed to have a settlement for my vehicle and then have some of the works done privately through FMG Repairs. This was agreed so I went ahead and began getting a settlement through my insurance company, but then one of the sales team rang me and said that it was now not possible and that the price would be greater than originally quoted - for no specific reason. I was extremely upset by this as I had already begun getting a settlement figure. My Father called them to discuss this further but they reported that there was no call logged that morning to myself. This just sprung alarm bells and I wanted the vehicle out of there as soon as possible. I also asked for an estimate breakdown of what works were required as I wanted an explanation for the cost of repairs. This seemed an extremely arduous task for the receptionist as "she would have to go to the workshop which is a football pitch away". I was not impressed to say the least and this was the cherry on top of everything else that had happened. I managed to have my vehicle moved to a different private garage. The parts from my vehicle were boxed up and shoved in the footwells, boot and seats of my car. The passenger side dashboard was also scuffed by them doing this (my car was near pristine besides damage from the accident). I called the branch regarding this and I never received a call back with an explanation. I was under the impression that an inventory of parts and what was in each box would be provided so that I could pass it to the new garage. However I was given radio silence."

"Useless, utterly useless, have had car for 8 weeks, communication is appalling. Avoid as if your life depends on it!"

"I have never had such an awful experience with a company in my life, their rude staff and shoddy service is just terrible. Returned my car with scratches and a flat rear tire. Need trading standards calling as "Repair Services " is false advertising Avoid like the plague"

"Had work on my car due to an accident and have had some problems since they have done the work. Now saying they are not going to sort it as they are under a new business I have the warranty that was given to me but at they now don't deal with the insurance company that was not mine will not correct the work on my car."
