"I was looking for a tiler on Yell.com for my kitchen and came across Laurent. After reading the reviews, I decided to contact him. I told him what I needed doing in my kitchen and living room (titling, skirting boards etc) and he told me he can do this within 2 days for £420 and requested that I provide all the material. What was supposed to take only 2 days took 10 days AND the work still isn't completed. What he has done is completely unsatisfactory. The tiles are not leveled at all. It looks awful for a brand new kitchen. I am now in a worse position than before and I am now going to have to buy more materials and pay someone else to do the work. I have already paid half the money to Laurent and I will not be paying anything else. The quality of his work is extremely bad and truly upsetting. I'm not sure where the other reviews have come from but I can honestly say as his most recent customer, he has bad character, he's unreliable and he is 100% incompetent."
"We have been using Laurent for different jobs around our house for several years. He is always professional, polite and offers his perspective on how to solve issues. Amongst other things he has mounted TVs and installed a variety of different furniture/shelves/fittings/curtains (example photos included). I would highly recommend Laurent and we will be continuing to use him for all our jobs around the house in the future. Plus - he's a lovely chap!"
