"Avoid this place. Been ordering off them for a few years but recently they are a joke! I placed an order last Tuesday for a bag of 50 locusts and we’re now on Wednesday, no dispatch email nothing. I emailed them asking why and I got nothing back (yet they claim they reply the same day). I then sent another email demanding a full refund due to their incompetence, I now have the refund but I got no acknowledgement of my complaint or even an apology. I’ve had to buy live food elsewhere since which left me out of pocket. The whole company is awful, this has happened on numerous occasions too. Reading the other recent 1 star reviews I can see I’m not alone! Clearly they’ve employed a bunch of job centre drips since lockdown. Edit: you never intended to reply anyway due to the lack of customer service you have and the multiple issues I’ve had with you guys, I’ve been patient in the past and accepted your apologies but you’re absolutely useless and your service recently is not even worth 1 star. You never answer the phone, you don’t send out apologies, I wasn’t rude on the email I simply called you incompetent because you did not communicate with me about my order and my chameleon was without food for a few days due to you lot not sending me anything about my order even after I sent you the first email . I’ll stand by my comments and I’ll happily never buy off you lot again and take this further. Bellends!"

"Poor customer service. Bought a vivarium which was snapped when delivered. They’re happy to replace but when asked what they could do as gesture of good will, they said have a full refund instead as they don’t give anything as a good will gesture and proceeded to tell me to purchase elsewhere."

"I have nothing but good things to say about Internet Reptile, from the variety of stock to the staff and communication. I purchased a lovely vivarium for my son and it turned up next day. Really pleased with it. Highly recommended"

"Awful service. Ordered a UV lamp kit which arrived next day. Great. Box was around 70cm tall, whilst the the actual UV kit is only around 30-35cm, with no additional packaging materials. As such, the UV Kit was left loose to slide up and down. As soon as I opened the Kit, I could hear the UV bulb rattling so immediately plugged it in to test it out, only for it not to work. Upon contacting customer services, I have been greeted by nothing but stupid requests asking for proof of set up, including thermostat etc despite the issue arising due to poor packaging. Currently engaged in a back and forth, with Internet Reptiles asking for the FULL item to be returned before they will action a replacement, when all I want is a replacement bulb. If it continues, it will be getting sent back, a full refund requested and I'll be buying elsewhere. (I can pick up the same item next day on Amazon for the same price, and refuse to wait upwards of a week for return processing and then replacement sent). Avoid at all costs. First time using this website, and I most certainly won't be returning."

"I would highly recommend this place to any reptile lovers. The staff have a wealth of knowledge of many different types of reptiles. My son is autistic and they were brilliant with him,i think he held just about every reptile in there. Don't expect to purchase anything without doing your research as they are not like your franchise pet shop,sell to anybody. Which truly shows they care about the reptiles they are selling. I wouldn't buy from anywhere else as the care and knowledge these guys have is fantastic."
