"Mixed bag really. Ordered a rack, bar, plates & collars back in December after being told safety bars would be in stock 'in the new year'. Communication was good prior and rack is good quality. I made the purchase on the understanding spotters would be available in a couple of months. After waiting 4 months I emailed them and was given platitudes about the safety spotters had 'just gone out of stock' err, by this point it had been about 5 months with no stock. They can't give me any information re availability. It's now 6 months since the original order (+ at least 1 month when I was shopping around and they were out of stock) and still no safety spotters in stock. As they clearly have no idea re ETA, and honestly I wonder if they're ever going to be stock, I'm now having to sell the rack, take a loss and get a new rack from somewhere else. I made do for six months but now the lack of safeties is really impacting on training. If you need a reasonably priced rack I'd look elsewhere - at this point I'd honestly take their customer service with a pinch of salt. EDIT: It took nearly 12 months for spotters to come in stock. Don't trust a word their pre-sales tell you."

"Bought items almost three weeks ago and still waiting for them to be delivered . I lost so much time writing emails and chasing the courier company ( chosen by the seller) that I don't even care if their product are good or as rubbish as their delivery service. Very bad experience."

"Firstly, I cannot speak about the quality of their products. What I can say is that I had a pretty disappointing experience anyway. AF marketed a 15% discount code on Instagram, which I followed and, after a significant amount of research, decided to go for and order one of their barbells and some weights. Both were (apparently) already reduced. Of course, I did not go through their terms and conditions at that point to check if the code worked for already discounted products. Instead, I did what (presumably) anyone would do and tried to apply the code at the checkout. It worked. Great stuff, I was very excited. Money went trough, got an order confirmation, and arranged a pick-up time with them. Fast forward (two days before pick up): I get an email from AF telling me that there was a problem with their system and that the discount should not have been applied. Their solution: we will cancel your order (and return moneys) and you have to order all over again, without any discount. The total of the extra discount was £40 - I imagine not the world for AF. Not saying they didn't react within their rights (although I'd like to believe they breached a valid sale contract) but at least they way they handled this was very disappointing - they did not even consider a slightly lower discount as a gesture of goodwill for completely wasting my time."

"Have just received AF's competition bench and AF branded hexagonal rubber dumbbells (20 - 25kg). Delivery was delayed a week or two, as very clearly stated on their website, due to Covid. The kit arrived yesterday and is absolute quality. I have been weight training for over 20 years and happily confirm the quality of their kit is first class. The bench is built like a tank and the fact that you can do incline, seated and decline means that you can hammer your shoulders and chest with ease. Putting it together from the diagram provided is a bit of an IQ test and they should replace the metal washers used on the moving leg bar with plastic or rubber ones to prevent the metal from getting scratched. Other than that, love the kit and the AF branding is spot on."

"I came across AF when the lockdown was announced in the U.K. I previously had not looked into setting up a home gym so I was none the wiser on who to buy from. I came across great reviews for AF - and I can see why. Given the circumstances we are in, the customer service and after care was faultless. I received my goods in a very reasonable time frame bearing in mind the circumstances; I was kept notified through out; all my (silly) queries were very quickly answered with minimal fuss and over all it was a very pleasurable experience doing business with AF. Not forgetting that the kit itself is of a high quality and finish, easy to assemble, is sturdy, and I have been thoroughly enjoying my workouts using the kit. I purchased a power rack and adjustable bench and I am very pleased. Overall 5/5. Thanks again for the service and I will be ordering plates etc once they are back in stock. Mandeep"
