"I was debating whether I should post this or not but I feel it's important for others struggling with moderate to severe acne to be aware. It's already difficult as it is to see a professional when your acne is in a bad state but it's even worse when you are given a £90 initial bill for basic products and told your acne is "never going to permanently go away" so "you'll have to come back regularly for treatments" which i was told would average at about £180. Anyway I went to a different practice and thankfully actual tests were taken of my skin and hormones and I was prescribed a long term treatment with antibiotics and daily use products at a fraction of the price which cleared my face completely and even 1 and a half years later my skin is better than ever. I don't want to imagine how much money I would've paid if i sticked to the regular treatments skn recommended."

"From the moment I first stepped-in to the SK:N clinic at Plymouth I knew it was the place for me. The staff were (and are, despite the occasional staff changes) all very friendly and welcoming, which was definitely a deciding factor in my choosing to have my treatment there; and knowing they are professionally trained to a high standard inspires confidence in what is potentially a very hazardous procedure. Having just finished my course of laser treatment for facial hair removal which I started twelve months ago, I have to say I am delighted with the results, in what has been a partly painful but very productive process (and the discomfort just 'goes with the territory', wherever you have it done). One could have achieved similar results with electrolysis, but it would have been much slower and therefore more expensive. Even the electrolysist I was also seeing at the same time elsewhere urged me to keep going with the laser treatment as well, purely for the speed of seeing positive results. Having a 50% quota of white facial hairs, it would have been great to have the complete hair removal procedure (dark and white hairs) completed at the Plymouth branch, rather than having to find somewhere else where conditions might not be so conducive, but that method isn't yet part of their menu; however, the excellent laser treatment I've just finished puts me well ahead on my hair removal journey.
