"Completely inadequate company. Having booked a ski trip for a school about 16 months in advance and forgetting one vital piece of the puzzle - coaches- On what planet do you plan a trip of such expense and someone forgets to book the coaches!?! 60 odd kids who having already been schooled throughout the pandemic who have already missed out on ‘normal’ school trips this was to be the ultimate once in a lifetime school trip. Heads should roll, someone needs to be fired."

"31st March 2023 LESS THAT 24 HOURS before over 100+ pupils were due to go to Italy for 1 weeks Easter skiing holiday HALSBURY TRAVEL cancelled the whole trip leaving pupils HEARTBROKEN. The teachers and parents with undeniably disappointment, now everybody has to change their Easter holiday plans, I have had to cancel my work next week to stay home to look after my child at great financial cost, other parents have had to cancel their own holidays as they had made plans for a break while the children should have been on a skiing holiday. reading the reviews, they have Cancelled 3 or 4 full school skiing trips today, the company cannot be trusted, as they have now shown they are incompetent at arranging school trips at the expense of others both emotionally and financially. THEY WILL NOT BE WINNING SCHOOL TRIP COMPANY OF THE YEAR EVER AGAIN!!! The CEO Robin Parry has FAILED at his position and should feel disgraced at every level letting down so young people who have looked forward to this ski trip and spent money on the necessary items for a ski trip, this trip was booked well over 12 months ago and the problems only came to light in the last 24 hours. this company should be boycotted from future school trips. Feel free to copy and share this across all social media platforms and highlight this to any Schools, Colleges or universities who are intending to use them as in my opinion STAY WELL CLEAR!!!"

"Don’t ever book a school ski trip here they are bound to disappoint you. This company has deflated so many students’ hearts . Tomorrow 100 of us were meant to be setting off for our school ski trip but due to the lack of awareness and responsibility this company have we cannot go . How does a company which specialises in school ski trips fail to provide transport and even then only realise less than 48hours before the trip is meant to take place , it is an utter disgrace the trip was organised before the new year and somehow you forget to book transport. This company is untrustworthy and has broken so many students’ built up joy and excitement for skiing . Be ashamed Halsbury Travel."

"Halsbury saved the day! When a school ski trip I was running to the USA was cancelled, due to the collapse of another company, Halsbury stepped in and saved the trip. The work that they did to ensure that the transition was smooth was excellent. We were made to feel supported and welcomed. They gave us confidence to run trips again due to the support and organisation of the team. I’m still grateful to this day as what was nearly a disaster turned out to be a great experience for the students."

"What a trip, 10 out of 10! It felt like Halsbury arranged the sunny weather too!! This is my 11th school ski tour, first time with Halsbury and this was the smoothest run tour, ever. I took a school group skiing from Cork, Ireland to Passo Tonale in Italy with Halsbury over the Easter break. It was arranged at very short notice and Halsbury were terrific to deal with. Because of the short timeframe, we still had to sort a few things locally when we arrived like an evening swimming, an evening bowling and a pizza night and the Halsbury rep Olga did all of this for us without any hassle. The hotel Albergo Angelo was spotless and the food excellent, catering for a number of vegetarians and coeliacs without any issues. The hotel is located 300m from the ski-fit and the slopes so it was really convenient to walk the students to their lessons. Ski instructors were as good as we have ever had and the ski-fit shop were very accommodating, keeping our skis and poles overnight so again less hassle for our students. At no point was there a hiccup!! The skiing was brilliant too!! On our last day we had 3 hours to stroll around the old town in Bergamo before our flight at 8pm. This was a really relaxing way to spend the day, having pizza in one of the old squares and ice cream overlooking Bergamo from the heights of the old town. Magnificent views!!
