"My stay here was only one night, but it was exceptional from beginning to end. The moment I arrived I was greeted by the most amazing helpful check-in staff. They checked with me a few times throughout my stay to make sure I had everything I needed. The location is heavenly. The estate sits on beautifully landscaped grounds with a peek-a-boo view from the lounge area. There are several sculptures on the grounds to complement this upscale establishment. The sea is a short walk through the neighborhood where this hotel is located. The rooms are elegantly decorated with views of either the luxurious grounds or the sea. There is a spa on site, and I booked a massage. There is a back elevator near the rooms to allow you to make your way to the spa in your robe from your room with a bit of privacy. The massage was good. The only minor issue was the TV remote in my room wasn't working, but they quickly arrived at my room with a new remote. There was a rubber duck in the bathroom which was a nice friendly playful touch, as well as a disposable toothbrush and toothpaste in case you forgot yours. Overall, this is a magical place that I highly recommend as a wonderful escape."
"My daughter and I stayed at the Culloden for one night, primarily for the spa. We each had a relaxation massage to start with. After the massages, we were given the chance to chill out in a large room with loungers, magazines and tea making facilities. Overall, it was a very relaxing experience. We also spent time in the jacuzzi that afternoon and the following morning. One slightly negative point would be that when we used the jacuzzi in the morning, we found that something in the water was irritating our eyes, possibly something used to clean it. We were happy with our room, it was spacious and comfortable, and had both a bath and a shower. We had a good meal in the Cultra Inn (part of the hotel complex) in the evening. Also had a good breakfast in the morning, there was an excellent selection of food and we were able to sit near the fire. I was able to get gluten free toast but I thought that maybe more gluten free options could have been provided. I also felt that the member of staff on duty could have been more attentive given that we were the only two people in the dining room at the time. There is a lovely view over the lough from the bar area. Overall, a restful and pleasant stay."
"Love this Hotel Lovely hotel views of the lough are amazing. Staff are always cheerful and happy always eager to please. The Cultra inn is also a great spot to meet up with friends and family food is excellent. Love using this place for family events. Looking forward to my next visit. Thank you Culloden 5star as always."
"Beautiful setting, lovely luxury hotel that was an absolute joy to stay at. My only 2 mild concerns were that check in took ages and the porters are a little too keen to grab your bags, which is a bit annoying. But apart from those little points our stay was almost faultless - comfortable, quiet and relaxing. Highly recommended"
