"Bought a second hand car (Renault Twingo) from Paul Mawhinney for my 17 yr old daughter and he failed to disclose the car was previously salvaged/ written off by insurance company. Known as a Category S for structural damage. We only discovered this when V5 was received in post and when contacted insurance the premium would increase. Contrary to response below insurer was unable to confirm to me the car had been previously insured as I asked. We did get a refund (£20 short which I notified dealer by text 10 mins after he left assuming he would call back with money as he had taken the key and was collecting car later - he did not hence the reason I phoned I was rudely told to not contact him again) it is difficult to count £2300 in £20s when being interrupted so I assumed the money to be correct. I would not recommend this dealer due to several abrupt and offensive text messages. For example when I text re a service dash light I was told “don’t contact me at 9.13 re a light on the car”obviously he found this to be a nuisance.,I find it hard to believe an experienced dealer didn’t know the status of the car when he sold it (despite saying otherwise) it’s clearly marked on front of V5 and as I later learned was an advisory on usedcarni website. I assume the warranty would have been invalid with the Cat S of the car. His first line defamatory remark below about my “ignorance” only confirms what I have said about offensive and unprofessional attitude."

"Contacted Paul to remove and relocate a classic car that hadn't been driven for a few years..the boys called out the next day very prompt. The job was trickier than they anticipated and took alot longer but they didn't charge any extra. Would highly recommend..great lads that go the extra mile to help.."
