"Have been with AXA for car insurance for couple of years now. Their prices were competitive at the time and I just renewed automatically during Covid. I recently needed to access my insurance certificate and went online to MyAXA only to discover that the expiry date on the insurance certificate was 2020 (two years out of date). When I phoned AXA Belfast office, they informed me that they were aware of a "glitch" on their system, where only the older policy documents were available. What is the point of having access to the policy documents online if they are not up to date? Why would they not fix the glitch in the system if they knew about it? The person I spoke to confirmed that my insurance was still current and that I would receive my insurance certificate in the post within 5 working days, however this never happened. I had to go in person into one of their offices to get a copy of the certificate. Very poor customer service overall and I will not be renewing with this company."
"Gave me a good price for car insurance on the online quote i thought okay good went to pay online they then proceed to ask 10 more questions , why give a quote just to ask another 10 questions? I assumed the price was the price so I cancelled my renewal with my current company then axa make you ring them to discuss and the person i got seemed cheeky and abrupt didn't provide many good vibes and basically said they can't give me a quote despite already giving me one previously ? All of this could have been avoided if like any other company who can't provide a quote simply tell you on the website sorry we can't provide you with a quote whereas axa pretend they can quote you then proceed to lie"
