"Young workers are lovely, did my rear tires very well and helped me when my battery died. However, the older man who I assume to run the place, was offish from the beginning and asked me rudely what I was doing when my car did not start. When the younger worker helped with this, he was moving another car so I could reverse out and leave, when the older gentleman came out of the garage accusing me of “clanking” my gears, which it was not me but a member of staff. He was patronising, probably because I was a young female, and then told me that a member of staff would move my car for me because “the young lady kept clanking her gears”. I then had to get out of my car, feeling embarrassed, and have a staff member move it for me despite the fact I can drive my OWN car very well thank you. Although I am happy with the young men who fitted my tires for me, I felt very uncomfortable around the man so I wouldn’t really feel okay coming back here unfortunately. I don’t appreciate being patronised, I don’t feel as though I would have been if I was a male."
