"This is proper old school refurb place. FANTASTIC. Alternator was giving grief and throwing belts. Took it to AutoSupplies and Steve is TOP. He looked at it and felt in the back and immediately found a problem (seized bush) on housing. I asked him to refurb - 45 pounds. He called me 3 hours it was all done. New back plate, new bearings and a clean and test.Alternators are simple beasts and a refurb is as good as new. I was quoted near on 300 for a new alternator. Do not buy a new alternator - this is the place to go!"

"A friend recommended this place when i identified a faulty alternator on my Chrysler grand voyager. I rang them to see if they could help and basically said if i can get down on the Saturday morning he would try to repair by lunchtime!! Unfortunately i had to have a new pulley which he didn't have in stock but said he'd order one on monday and i would have it repaired by Tuesday and sure enough tuesday came, he rang me to say it was ready for collection and for a very reasonable price too much much cheaper than anything online! So, in short i highly recommend this place"
